Scarlettʼs new collection for Spring/Summer 2010 is inspired by the forthcoming Chelsea Flower Show.
Visitors to the worldʼs most prestigious flower show will be offered an exclusive preview from the Scarlett Stand EA/8 from 24 – 29th May.

Sarah Fenton, Scarlettʼs designer was inspired by Britainʼs best-loved wild flowers. ʻThereʼs nothing more heavenly than walking through woods carpeted with bluebells in May or the bobbing of buttercups marking the onset of Springʼ says Sarah. The delicate shapes of wild flowers have been exquisitely captured into a nostalgic jewellery collection, with a whimsical, feminine appeal, evoking scenes from bucolic, British, rural landscapes.
Each design has its own meaning, inspired by the Victorian Language of Flowers. The art of floriography was a kind of secret code between the reserved Victorians under the reign of Queen Victoria, enabling them to
express their innermost passions through almost all plants and flowers. A posy became a coded message of love to be deciphered using one of the many floriography dictionaries available in the day.
Insects that thrive in British gardens and hedgerows are also highlighted in a limited edition collection, especially for the show. Dragonflies, ladybirds and butterflies alight on bangles, necklaces and rings, as if nature has just flown out of the hedgerows and landed on your finger. Visitors can be tempted to create their own bespoke jewellery as pieces can be customized and made to order in Scarlettʼs Brighton workshop.
Gardeners will appreciate be the new ʻGreenfingersʼ Mojo, the latest addition to Scarlettʼs best selling Mojo collection. Scarlett Mojos are a range of talisman beads, etched with inspirational messages to be worn on necklaces, bracelets and bangles. These symbolic beads will add a touch of humour to a jewellery box without breaking the bank. Mojos are available in either sterling silver at a very reasonable £27 or in 9 carat gold, starting from £60.
